The e-Visa granted by the Indian authorities can be used for traveling within India through 28 designated airports namely Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi, Gaya, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mangalore, Mumbai, etc. and five designated seaports namely, Cochin, Goa, Mangalore, Mumbai and Chennai. However, the foreigner can take the exit from any of the authorized Immigration Check Posts (ICPs) as designated by the airport authorities.

FEES:

The payment of fees for processing of Visa application is nonrefundable and is independent of the authorization called Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). It is necessary that the payment must be made within four days of the expected date of travel.

DOCUMENTS

The formalities of documentation for the visa application process is different according to the type of visa:

For E-Tourist Visa: A scanned bio page of the passport along with the image of the applicant and other necessary details is required.

For Medical Visa: The scanned bio page of the passport along with other details accompanied with the copy of a letter from the concerned hospital.

For E-Business Visa: Along with the scanned bio page having the image and other details, a copy of the business card as well as the letter of invitation from the Indian organization.
